Syd Biotechnologies offers construction of standard cDNA and EST libraries from a wide variety of biological sources including bacteria, plants, marine organisms, algae, fungi, cacti, nematodes, and clinical or pathological samples.

We specialize in generating high-quality libraries even from minimal quantities of total RNA—often derived from scarce or challenging samples such as limited blood, tissue, or rare cell types. These libraries are ideal for applications such as EST database development, gene expression screening, and functional genomics research.

• Select the vector of your choice such as two-hybrid, retroviral or any other toxic vector
• Receive two size fractionated libraries (0.4kb-2.0kb and 2.0 kb and up) for each sample
• 90-100% recombination efficiency
• >5 million primary clones supplied
• Phage resistant host competent cells used for propagation
• 500 µg endo-toxin free DNA supplied with the library
• Semi-solid amplification procedure adapted for amplification preventing unbiased clone representation
