Superoxide Anion Assay Kit- 100T/48S
Active oxygen species such as superoxide anion (O₂⁻) play key roles in immunity and signal transduction in the body. The superoxide anion reacts with hydroxylamine hydrochloride to form NO₂⁻, which then reacts with p-aminobenzenesulfonamide and naphthalene ethylenediamine hydrochloride to produce a red azo compound. This compound exhibits a characteristic absorption peak at 530 nm. The content of O₂⁻ can be quantified based on the A₅₃₀ value.
