Peroxidase (POD) Activity Assay Kit – 50T/24S

Peroxidase (POD) is widely present in animals, plants, and microorganisms. It catalyzes the oxidation of phenols and amines using hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), thereby reducing the toxicity of H₂O₂, phenols, and amines. In the presence of H₂O₂, POD facilitates the oxidation of specific substrates to form a product with a characteristic absorbance at 470 nm.
